Does anyone know anything related to the history of this beer? I came across this unopened bottle today at a memorial service of a dear friend, and it was part of his bar collection. I was able to keep it as a memento and I'd like to know more about it.

It appears to have been made by the Fortune Brothers Brewing Company in Chicago circa 1933 - 1949 according to this site http://www.taverntrove.com/brewery.php?BreweryId=482.

If anyone knows anything about this beer/brewery please share.

Do you still have that bottle? That is our family brewery. Fortune fish company stems from the brewery name.

That is very cool.
Welcome to the forum! I'm sure many members would love to hear some family brewing history.
I checked on Ebay, there are a few bottles and labels available, but all are empty.
Do you brew?
