I'm just getting into home brewing with a friend/coworker of mine. We have joint custody of a 5 gallon all grain system with a igloo MLT. At the moment it's all gravity/armstrong transfer methods, but we're looking into a rims/pump setup for better mash temp control.
I'll be here from time-to-time, mostly to lurk and pick up some parts from the classifieds.
Monday is our next brewday and we'll be doing up a nice Almond Porter. We're on the second go'round with this beer. The first one was great, but we're making some small changes. Also, we will begin to keg beer from this point on. I am putting together the pieces I need to keg into 5 gal ball-lock vessels.
Anyway, I'm doing some research on RIMS units and I'll work on that this summer, but for now, I want to iron out some carb consistency with the keg setup.
