Hi,

New here.

I have been extract brewing for a few years now, and moving to all grain.

I know this is most likely a dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer reading other posts.

With extract brewing, I steep my extra color grains etc in my water then add extract.

For all grain, do ALL the grains go in the tun for the infusion mash?
Or do specialty grains get added later in the boil?

Thank you all so much,

Ron

Man you guys are fast.........Thank you so much!
I sort of figured that, but wasn't sure.

One more question....
When they say
HOPS:

1 oz cascade @ 60
1 oz x @ 30

Does that mean, add 1 oz cascade the 60 minute point? Or for 60 minutes?
Thanks again.

Think of it as a countdown. 60 minutes is when the boil starts (if you're doing a 60 minute boil), and 0 minutes is when you kill the heat to the kettle.
