AHA Governing Committee Elections

Hi. I am a longtime member of HomebrewTalk and the owner of a Micro Homebrew, a local homebrew supply shop north of Seattle. I am running for a spot on the American Homebrewers Association Governing Committee.
Homebrewing and the brewing community has become a big part of my life over the last 10 years. Many brewers are putting the hobby on hold or getting out of it all together. While the AHA does a great job of supporting current members, I would like to encourage the AHA to commit some resources to helping grow the hobby by reaching new brewers. I believe that my understanding of the homebrew industry would be valuable and could help the AHA develop some strategies to promote homebrewing to people who might not have considered it before.
