I've been wanting to brew an Oberon clone for quite awhile now but haven't seen any recipes for extract so I am trying to convert an AG recipe from Cweston (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=31422). Could i please get some feedback on whether this will work? Thanks.
Recipe Type: Extract
Yeast: I heard Bell's using the same yeast to bottle condition that they use to ferment so I thought I would culture the yeast from a bottle.
Batch Size (Gallons): 5
Original Gravity: 1.058
Final Gravity: 1.010?
IBU: 17
Boiling Time (Minutes): 45
Color: 5 SRM
9.3# Wheat LME
.5# Carapils (steep)
.5# Munich (steep)
0.5 oz Hallertau 45 min.
0.75 oz Hallertau 30 min.
0.25 oz Hallertau 0 min.
1 oz. Saaz 0 min.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
