So I’m starting to receive my nitro equipment now. For those that don’t carb with CO2 and instead just use beer gas do you use an aeration stone and additional tubing to put it at the bottom of the keg instead of venting into the headspace? I’ve read that this extended beer contact will carb the beer (again on beer gas) in a couple of days vs a couple weeks if venting into the keg headspace with limited (surface) contact. Are those articles really true in practice?
