Added too much water

Hey everyone,
So when i was adding water to my brew later night to equal 5 gallons I went a little overboard and now the total is 5.5. Anyone know how that will effect the outcome?

So when i was adding water to my brew later night to equal 5 gallons I went a little overboard and now the total is 5.5. Anyone know how that will effect the outcome?

You will have a lower OG which will give you a lower APV on the finished product. Besides that let it ferment away and enjoy the end product!

Boil off half a gallon and be back at 5 gallons.
