Watching James Bond marathon on G4, and I have to say the ones with Roger Moore have to be the worst of the bunch when it comes to stretching credulity.
Right now it's The Man with the Golden Gun.
That particular bit is on a sign in the super-villain's power generating facility where there's a bunch of tanks with liquid helium. Which, while being quite cold, is most certainly NOT at absolute zero.
Of course still not as bad as Moonraker, where the super-villain has enough money and power to secretly build a space station and launch several shuttles to it, all completely invisible to RADAR. And then when Bond destroys the jamming thingy that is hiding the space station, the forces of good send up a couple shuttles of their own, carrying soldiers armed with laser weapons ala Star Wars.
