I brewed a turbodog clone today and i would like to split the batch and put vanilla extract in half. When would i add the vanilla extract and how much should i put?

I'd recommend adding a whole vanilla bean sliced lengthwise to 2ndary this is how I vanilla my vanilla beers. Abita made an anniversary vanilla doubledog last year and they used whole vanilla beans as the little black seeds made it all the way to the bottle.

If i would soak 2 vanilla beans in vodka, then add that to 2.5 gallons at bottling. Would that be too much?
