That's pretty dang funny....
I am glad I came across this topic early on as I have not even actually started brewing just yet. (Well I tried to do a cider last fall, but having no idea what I was doing I messed it up horribly) I will probably start an actual beer batch in the next couple weeks as soon as I can afford the ingredients.
I will definitely be purchasing some 3/4" tubing and going with the blow-off method rather than the air-lock!
Now the jar can overflow into the laundry sink (which is used for my homebrewing only) and down the drain :rockin:
I think this would have happened with a 10 gallon bucket also. It's so aggressive... it's got a life of it's own!
I hope that that isnt a case of Bud in the lower right hand corner. You brew could catch the BMC flu from that stuff !
I hope for your sake they aren't twist-offs!
Wow, that looks awesome. Love the head on it. Did you force carb that or add priming sugar?
