In November a bunch of guys are going to be a shooting camp, and I've offered to brew a batch of beer one afternoon so that they can see what is involved. I've done remote brews before so that doesn't bother me, what I'm wondering is what to brew that I can bulk/bottle age for a year and then we can drink it at next years camp.

Ideas Russian Imperial Stout (have 5 gallons in bottles aging now)
Chocolate Covered Beaver Nuts , hear it taste better after 4 or 5 months would it be better after 12?
Maybe a Spiced Christmas Ale or AHS Spiced Porter.

Really just looking for ideas, never really think about aging time when I brew.

Like the first poster said, a Belgian Dark Strong Ale would be a good pick. The other two that come to mind is a Russian Imperial Stout or a Barleywine. Those would be my three picks but I had to pick just one I would go with a Barleywine.
