Hey guys quick question and I did some looking but still kinda iffy... I generally never open my primary ale pail but for belgium wit I felt I had to check it out....
My satellite sample showed an SG of 1.012 ish but there was still a really big krausen from what I could tell in my primary... So I waited another 2 days. On day 5 I opened my lid to find it is just sitting there not doing much...
I took an SG from my primary and the reading came out to 1.020 so I still think there is some fermenting going on but, is it normal for the krausen to hang out on top for 5 days?
I read that it seems most 3 days for a wit? I know I should probably RDWHAHB but I just wanna make sure second batch is gonna be yummy and not stuck.
