Having a few cold mornings here in Indiana. I've got 3 plants, one of which is already 3 foot tall.

Last night we got a dusting of snow and tonight we're expecting a freeze warning down to 30F. Is this going to hurt my harvest and should I cut the bines down and start fresh while it's still early?

Hate to do that if it isn't necessary....

Dont worry about it !! We cut back all first growth on 2nd year . The first growth just sucks the carbs out of the root and races up the rope with less production. If you just started them w a single rhizome last year there should be lots more coming up. Lose the long ones now. You should plan on training by the middle of May. This sets the timing for the bine to reach the top of the trellis by summer solstice then the sidearms start
