Hi all,
Here's some photos of the restoration of my 1947 Philco kegerator.
What I started with. I got it from the Swedish equivalent to craigslist for the price of the add ($15). It still had the original receipt and manual.
Stripped down and the old insulation removed. I also replaces all the wiring, the thermostat and the mechanical relay with a new electronic one.
New insulation.
I had to fix some dents.
The door is primed and a white striped is applied.
The door is wrapped with car wrapping vinyl foil.
The rest is wrapped too.
The door handle was broken and must be partly remade and painted.
Done!
It fits two 9,45 liter cornies and some bottles. That fits me well since my normal batch size is 10 liters.
Cheers,
Mattias
