I have a 120V Herms system using 3 converted kegs for sale. I built this system about 7 years ago or so, brewed about 50 batches on it over a few years, and it has then sat in storage for the last 3 years. I just don't have time to brew anymore and am officially getting out of the hobby (for now). This was built as a budget build when I was in college, so it isn't very shiny and it isn't perfect, but it has made some good beer over the years. Can boil about 13 gallons for 10 gallon batches. The HERMS coil is removable and is also used as the wort chiller. It is wired to utilize two separate 120V, 20A circuits. Some of the wiring will need to be replaced (extension cords from control center to 120V, 20A outlets, extension cords from HLT heating elements) and I will be removing this wiring before the item sells. All heating elements, pump, control center have been tested prior to removing the wiring listed above. After being in storage for several years, the wood frames for the control panel and pump are quite dirty, and the pump fittings could likely benefit from removal and thorough cleaning. Highlights below:

  • 15 gal converted keg brew kettle with 2, 2000W LWD 120V heating elements. Has an extra port with valve for re-circulation during cooling/heating.
  • 15 gal converted keg HLT with 2, 1500 W HWD 120V heating elements.
  • 15 gal converted keg Mash Tun with stainless steel false bottom and dial thermometer. Insulated with a gigantic fireproof blanket. Has recirculation port near top of mash tun.
  • Wort pump with all fittings and extra purge valve installed.
  • Auber SYL-2362 temperature controller wired to two, 120V outlets at control center.
  • 25(?) foot removal copper HERMS coil/wort chiller.
  • All necessary hoses with quick-connect fittings.
  • Barley crusher grain mill.
  • Converted chest freezer fermentation chamber with STC-2000 temperature controller (corny kegs in picture not included with sale).
  • Milwaukee pH meter (likely needs a new electrode)
  • Other miscellaneous brewing supplies (buckets, carboys, etc).
I'm asking $500. If anyone thinks I'm far off hear, let me know, but I feel that this is more than reasonable. I'm sure I'm missing some things, so feel free to ask questions. I'll likely be quicker to respond to email ([email protected]).
