I made a smash 1 gallon beer yesterday with malting co of Ireland and Sorachi ace. I have the time today to make a 5gallon but no yeast. Is it ok to throw the 1 gallon batch that's bubbling already into the bigger batch. My guess is that it's ok, but I thought I would throw it out there to see that u guys think. The 5 gal would be a stout with a grav of about 1.065 ish with malt co of Ireland grain. The yeast I used was s04.

Never done it, but I would.

It is just like making a 2 liter starter, except slightly bigger and probably much tastier.
