Mr Beer 740ml pet bottles

Hello All,

New to the brew scene.
What are peoples thoughts on the Mr Beer (Deluxe) 740ml PET bottles that are offered on WalMart website. After examining some various softdrink PET bottles at WalMart the "Dad's" root beer bottles are a very heavy thickness that appear would be very durable(as a sidenote.)
Has anyone used the Mr Beer brand of these amber bottles to verify they are a fairly heavy grade plastic. My reasoning behind this if I'd order 4 of the 12 count 740ml cases Id get free shipping which is of course somewhat of a killer with what I originally wanted in the 24 x 12 ounce long neck glass bottle/case.

If you want glass bottles, just drink some beer and wash the bottles. Bottle caps are cheap.

Scheels had some on a clearance rack, (Mr. beer 740's) bought them all. They work just fine.
