Im building a conical and im thinking: is a racking arm necessary? Could you not drain the yeast and trub and then when it runs clear, drain into your bottling bucket?
On the home brew scale a racking arm is not needed. We recommend dumping the yeast (primary), then cold crashing and then racking out of the racking port. The material/liquid left behind will mostly be yeast, hops and trub. Racking arms look cool and are useful on large tanks but not needed on the home brew side (read: gimmicky).

How about a lid teaser pic lol! Sorry guys on the delay! It's been such a huge project and we want to get it right the first time. We have a ton of modular features we want to offer down the line so this means trying to plan out 1 year in advance on top of getting the design perfect the first time!
