After a couple days of calling around various sporting good, welding supply, fire extinguisher companies I finally found a location in San Fernando, about a 15 min drive from Santa Clarita.
The problem I had was most of the recommended places either couldn't fill a 5lbs tank (due to incorrect fitting) or all they did was an exchange at about $25 a pop. As well I have a brand new kegerator with a brand new tank, as such I wanted to keep my new equipment and not swap it out for a used tank.
So if your in need of a place to fill, like I was, and are anywhere near the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, even Simi Valley check out:
