I am going to brew 10 gallons of my twist of Hefeweizen soon and wanted to pitch a different yeast in 5 gallons. 5 gal is getting 3068 and I was thinking about bottle harvesting Oberon and supplementing it with a 1/2 pack of US-05.

It's half pils half red wheat, with a little flaked and white wheat, and also 1 each of Amarillo and Cascade at flameout, because I can.

What say you to pitching some Oberon with this recipe? I do enjoy Oberon...

Sounds like a great idea to me, I'd try to grow up a nice culture and go with all Bell's yeast. You can dry hop that one too if you like.
