I brewed a lager 5 or so weeks ago and "Sandy" knocked out the power so i wasnt able to keep steady temps during fermentation. I went forward with the d-rest and have had it lagering about 2 weeks. I tasted today to see the effects of lagering and found my beer tastes, alcoholic and "estery", bitter and over all kinda bad. Is this typical? My gut says dump. I dont want to waste my time and chamber space on such a lackluster product.
