I'm brewing a ale octoberfest...will bohemian lager yeast be ok?

No, not really. If you're making an ale, I'd suggest an ale yeast. Lager yeast don't taste very good when fermented at ale temperatures.

A clean well attenuating ale yeast would be much better. If you could ferment at 58-62 degrees, a kolsch yeast or nottingham yeast would be great. At above 64 degrees, I'd suggest WLP001 or S05.
