I'm brewing a raspberry wheat (extract-5 gal. batch) I'm adding 4 oz of ID Carlson raspberry fruit flavoring...do I add it after the boil....before pitching the yeast....or when I keg..thanks.

When you keg - and don't add all 4oz. Take a cup of your beer before kegging and add drops of the extract to that until you get the level of flavor you want. Then calculate up how many drops to add to the whole batch and add 75% of that and retaste before deciding if you need to add more.

I added fruit to my secondary for a week. I have not heard the best things about the fruit "flavorings". All I have heard is that they leave your beer with an artificial flavor to them... I used real berries, they are just as easy. Just my .02
