Never heard of it until just now at the store when I saw the 12pk. Snatched it right up and I'm drinking one now. I love Kellerbiers, but they are hard to find. This is a really good example. Anyone else had it?

I thought it sounded like a soap.

Never heard of it, Airborneguy, and prob will never see it. East Texas is ALMOST a vacuum of craft beers.

Even Sam Adams? What do you have? I'm always amenable to trades. I have some Real Ale and Rahr's in my fridge right now from my last trade.

We do have Sam Adams...but it's very limited. So sad! I might do some trades...I'm sure you can get most everything up there though! lol

I mean...very limited as to the type of sam we get down here. Boston Lager, yeah...and maybe a Brewmaster 12 of 6 variety...

Just tried it an hour ago. Refreshing and light but a bit thin. There was another new release that I can't remember and lost the email about.

I just had it myself. Thought it was great. Now only if it was a hot, muggy day, it would really hit the spot!

Yeah. Wrong time of year to be releasing this. Maybe they running out of winter lager.

Not sure I agree with that other than because of the name choice. Kellerbeir is just an unfiltered lager, its not a "seasonal" beer per se.

I don't find it to be lacking in body at all (thin as Stevo described it), and it certainly is not a light beer. Personally, I was surprised by how good it is.
