That looks like hot break(?). If my term is wrong I mean the stuff in the kettle after the boil. Not to worry, really.

Looks like yeast rafts floating up to the surface to me. This is quite normal during active fermentation. I think it is just the contrast of the white yeast against the black wort that makes it look weird, but it is quite normal.
 
+1 to yeast rafts. I've not seen that from S-04 specifically, but I've seen it in lots of my fermenters.
