Hi all,

Yesterday I recieved about 10kg of green grapes, grown outdoors in the NL. I decided to try to ferment them and have extracted about 5-7L juice.

I was planning to treat them in a similar manner to cider; adding yeast and letting fermentation take its course. Then potentially bottling with some sugar to add some sparkle.

Then I thought, you know what, best ask around first ;)

Does this sound like it'll end in a good or bad result? I'm not trying to create a serious wine, more just experiment and return a few bottles of sparkly drink to a friend who gave me the grapes.

Cheers!!

Iz

Optimally you would want to adjust up to about 22 brix with dextrose and use acid blend to suit your taste but what your doing will work just fIne :)
