I know dry hopping is really good for bringing out the hoppy aroma in beers and that late hop additions during a boil add both flavor and aroma but how much flavor does dry hopping actually add if any?

Not much at all - dry hopping is almost entirely aroma related.
...but it's worth it!
You can taste the hoppiness of a dryhopped beer.
