So I have the mash tun and pump in the mail for my indoor Brutus 20 system and am ready to order up a bunch of fittings from bargain fittings but can't quite decide whether or not to go with their cam locks. I was thinking of just using a friction fitting for the hose connections but then got to thinking that with a pump in the mix the pressure may require hose clamps. Anyone have any experience with a recirculating mash and no hose clamps for 1/2" tubing?
