I got a pretty nasty dent in my 8 gal Aluminum brew pot. First, are there any issues that would come along with continuing to brew with it? If so, can I at least use it for heating mash/sparge water with no ill effects?

I dropped and dented mine the day I bought it. Figure if it doesn't leak, its fine.
Take it to your friendly neighborhood autobody repair hop with a six pack. If they like beer, they likely can bump the dent out fairly clean in a couple minutes.
