One carnie's trash is a homebrewers treasure.

Saw a listing on CL last night for 5 pepsi soda kegs and a co2 tank (not sure of the size, ~2-3 feet tall) left by a carnival owner at some property. Offered $70 and they are now mine!

Co2 tank reads "weiner wagon" on the side.

probably a 20lb tank. That alone was probably worth $70 if it's in good condition and recently inspected.

One suggestion though... you MIGHT want to spell "wiener" correctly... Nobody likes the "whiner wagon."

Ah, heck... that's easy to fix. A little steel wool and a new coat of paint and then you can fix the misspelling.

No, some folks might take it wrong...

Couldn't find the hydro date on the co2 tank. From another thread I know that there are some exchange fill stations that don't check for hydro dates. Drawback being that the date on the one I receive may be expired too! One of the kegs still had some carbonated pepsi in it, 3 of them were empty of liquid but held pressure, and one of them still had some pressure held (but not as much as the others).

These will be getting cleaned up while I save up for the rest of the setup.
