Sanitize plate chiller day before

I would like to run star san through my shirron plate chiller the day before brewday. Is this okay? Can I throw it in a bucket of star san overnight after sanitizing, or would just putting tin foil on the ins and outs be enough?

It is not recommended to leave metals in contact with StarSan for extended periods of time because the stuff is acidic.
