So I decided to do an all extract batch a while ago. Its was the Munton's IPA kit. I went by the instructions precisely. Three problems, doesnt taste at all like IPA, has absolutely no body, and I can drink about five without any buzz kicking in. Any ideas?

what was the OG and the FG ?
might have finished out too dry. but then the abv should be high...is it just a weak beer? i have not seen this kit.

Perhaps you were expecting an American IPA? The Muntons kit would presumably be a traditional IPA, that is to say an English one. So it would not necessarily be nearly as highly hopped or as high an ABV as an American IPA.

Maybe you should drink them faster.
