Looking for very good Barley Wine

A barley wine if made now would be smooth next winter, and the winter after if any was left. If you really want something ready for this winter I would consider something more in the 1.060-1.070 OG range. A robust porter or strong old english ale come to mind.
 
Here is a extract recipe that was pretty tasty....Its a partial grain but I remember just steeping the grain for an hour or so in a muslin bag....
8lbs Light Malt extract
2lbs Old Barvian Munich
1lb 2row
2lb caravienne
1.5 oz chinook 60Min
3/4 oz Northern brewer 10min
1/4 oz Northern brewer End Boil
