So I'm moving house, and brewing has been put on indefinate hold. I am loaning most of my equipment to my brother who also brews.

The one thing I kept was my yeast cake from my last batch of hard cider.
I pitched it to my 2L flask with 2 cans of apple juice concentrate and 2 cans of water, and have it sitting on the stir plate. The plan is to
A: Produce a small batch of hard cider to drink between now and the move.
B: Build up my yeast colony so I can split it off into mason jars and have a large quantity of viable yeast to get things going again once I've moved.

Will update with more info.
