This is probably a stupid question but here goes anyways....
Do you have to fill a keg before carbonating and serving it? Does it change the process/time to carbonate at all? I want to put 2.5 - 3 Gallons of beer into a 5 Gallon corny.
I'm asking because I made a batch of stout a few weeks back and separated it into 2 - 3 Gallon carboys and used 2 different types of yeast to see what the difference in taste is. Now that I am the new proud owner of a kegerator I am itching to try some beer from it.
