I'm planning on doing a couple of brews (AG, infusion mashing in cooler) for which the built-in temperature calculations in Beersmith won't work. For example, a stovetop cereal mash followed by infusion mashing with the rest of the grains, or a sour mash of a portion of the grain bill.
I know Daniels gives the information I need (heat capacity of grain, etc.) in Designing Great Beers, but I'm hoping to find an online reference so I don't have to check it out again from the library.
Anybody have a good link to some information, or perhaps a spreadsheet designed for such calculations?
Thanks!
