Bottling w/Carlo Rossi bottles?

I was wondering if anyone has used a cleaned Carlo Rossi wine jug to bottle homebrews? I figure they are much like a growler I only wonder if the cap would seal properly.
 
I think that would be a bad idea- as tgreene said, they aren't designed for carbonation. The glass is probably too thin to hold up under pressure. I'd try plastic soda bottles if you don't have enough beer bottles.
