Ok, first of all I didn't know whether this belonged in mead or cider so sorry if I misplaced this one.
Anyway my question is about headspace in the secondary carboy. I have heard that headspace in a aging carboy is bad because of contact with oxygen. So I just ran a hose out of my co2 regulator and pumped some into the carboy and quickly put the airlock on. Would this be as effective, or at least help? Is it worth using sanitized marbles?
Thanks a lot
Ben
