My burners have been the victim of some boil overs. There is some gunk on them that appears to be clogging where the flame comes out. How should i clean them?

+1

Any tips out there? I turned around for about ten seconds on a "stable" boil and it boiled onto my blichmann burner. Broke my heart. :smack:

Couple options:

Green scrubbie sponge and baking soda paste works well. SS or metal brush if all else fails.

Could also use oven cleaner. Nasty stuff though. Wear gloves, well ventilated area and away from your brew equipment.

Good Luck
