This is officially the first beer I have made that I wowed myself with. It's my Hoppy Hound Pale Ale, the third batch of beer I brewed (now have 6 under my belt, which is getting tighter), and the first where I put the recipe together.

Wow. Very good beer. I something about pulling a draft beer in my house is truly amazing.

Hoppy Hound IPA

8 oz. 40L Crystal Malt

6.6 lbs. Extra light LME
1 lb Light DME

2 oz. Centennial 72'
1 oz. Centennial 32'
1/2 oz. Cascade 12'
1/2 oz. Cascade 5'
1 oz. Cascade at flame out

FORGOT: 1 oz Cascade for 12 days in secondary...

WYEAST 1056 American Ale
OG- 1.056
FG- 1.012
ABV- 5.7%
IBU- 67.9

I love the dry hopped smell. :rockin::rockin::rockin:
 
I can't wait to show my wife this beer tonight! Although she favors IPAs usually, I think this Pale Ale has enough hoppiness to convince her.

So glad I waited a couple weeks after kegging to try a whole pint though. After one week it was a marginal beer, at best. Now it is phenomenal after two. I can't wait to see what it's like after a month. If it makes it that long. Unlikely. lol
 
That sounds great! A great pint of your own homebrew from your own keezer on a Saturday afternoon is one of the great things in life! I'm glad yours turned out so well.
