I just looked at my brew after 2 days in the second fermentation process and can't decide if it hasmold or just bubbly/yeastie goodness. I did the second fermentation using pure Concord grape juice, straight from a brand new bottle. The plain brew from the same batch doesn't have any of these bubbles so I know it isn't a problem with the batch. I haven't been able to find anything about mold after the second fermentation being an issue.
It look like foamy bubbles on top of floating yeast chunks.

Are the chunks furry or smooth? If there is no fuzz, you are good to go. I occasionally get white chunks floating on top and I've never experienced a problem with it.

Do you have any pictures of it?
