I would like to make both a hefeweizen and a berliner weisse using the same grist. I am thinking the berliner weisse would be the second runnings. Is there a way to calculate the gravity from the first running versus the second running?

My goal would be to make 7.5 gallons of 1.038 wort and then make an additional 7.5 gallons of 1.025 wort.

One option would be to add some additional pilsner when doing the second batch.

Has anyone done anything like this before? I know it is much like making a "small beer" but I would like to try and do the math ahead of time so I know what to expect.
