Made up Recipe - What Could Go Wrong?

Hey folks -
I'm trying my first made up brew, based on ingredients I already have.

Any reason to think this recipe wouldn't "work"?

3.3lb Cooper's Light LME
3.3lb Cooper's Amber LME

1/2 lb crystal malt
1/4 lb chocolate malt

2 oz U.K. Kent golding Hop pellets (Alpha 5.0%)
(I've never used hop pellets...)

2 packs Muntons yeast.

Any advice besides "Run away and go find a real recipe!"?

Looks like it could be a decent enough British Brown Ale, a little on the hoppy side.

I love the once or twice a year kitchen sink recipes. I've made some wonderful spontaneous "I want to brew without shopping," batches over the years. Lots of left overs + yeast cake = fun brewing session!

That's exactly what I was hoping to hear!

Think one oz of the hops would work? I also have an oz of a lightly hoppier variety - I could go that direction...

Idk,with 2 coopers cans & added specialty malts,1.5 oz of KG hops in the boil & .5oz dry hop for a little aroma should be fine.
