So today I embarked on my first AG brew, its https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f67/nut-brown-ag-30187/. Anyways things have gone pretty smoothly so far, and I devised a nice little batch sparge system with little more than extract equipment.

I did a BIAB, mashed in my brew kettle meanwhile got sparge water up to 180-190 and put it into my extra bottling bucket. Sparged in the bucket and added to my BK with the following setup.

I gotta say, hauling 4.5 gallons of water and 20 pounds of soaking wet grain up onto that thing was a bit scary. :rockin:

My favorite thing about AG so far: The price tag on the trip to the HBS. :D

sorry about the double post, not really sure how that happened and I cant figure out how to delete the other one.

Anyways, first AG was fun, everything went well, I missed my OG by a couple points but I'm not sweating it.
