I've been playing with numbers and found something that raised a big old "?" above my head.
Main question - in a mini mash is there a problem with "sparging" or rinsing in this case with MORE water??
I ask this because . . . ..
I normally have been working with LME. Adding LME to a boil is adding liquid and I was making sure the PH of my water was correct (using Gravity points and amount of LME and so forth).
However - switching to DME I'm no longer adding liquid to the wort and thus my total wort being boiled will be slightly smaller.
SO - to make this up I thought I would just sparge (rinse) with more hot water.
