Unfortunately, my fresh cider supplies might be over so I'm going to have to try concentrates and other sources for my next batch. Would adding some fresh pressed eating apples add some variety to the taste? I know granny smith can be tart and sour (hence why I don't eat them). Has anybody tried to "spice" up generic cider with some fresh pressed cider before? And what varieties would work best?
This fall I'm going to press as much crab cider as possible so I can do this next summer too. Until then...
My trees are starting to leaf out. I only have to wait the whole summer before I get apples off of them.

So I found some fresh cider from the farmer market. The only problem is it is all Mac. I want to add some other varieties but the grocery store is the only place for that. Any suggestions on what I should add.
