Im new at home brewing but want to add a lemon flavor to my brew any tips?

I just made a beer with lemon zest. Get a tool called a "zester" and scrape the outside of a lemon with it. It smells like yellow starbursts :)

I've experience alot with my lemon wheat.

Best results was using zest from 4 regular sized lemons and adding it 15 minutes left of the boil.

I've tried adding cut up lemons to the secondary and also tried sorachi hops.

The zest was the type of lemon flavor I was going for. strong lemon aroma with a hint of lemon tast. great summer beer

5lbs 2 row
4lbs white wheat
8oz carapils
3oz honey malt - (new experiment just brewed with this last night)

.75 oz citra 60minute
.25oz citra 5 minute

wyeast 1010 American Wheat

lemon zest of 4 lemons at 15 minutes
