So i'm a kegging noob, have only kegged one beer before.

Is there any disadvantage to kegging highly hopped beers? Will hop aroma dissipate more quickly when kegged?

No- it's the same as bottling. The hops aroma will fade with time, but you've got a while!

The good thing about kegging hoppy beers is you can dry hop in the keg if you want. (put the hops in a hops bag or metal teaball as to not clog up the dip tube!). So, in that way, kegging is better than bottling for fresh hops aroma.
