I am in the process of building my variation of a SOF. I was thinking of spare parts I had laying around and came up with a heater core four 100mm fan set up in the actual chamber with lines running to another really insulated box holding glycol and 2 liter bottles of ice.
I have a mag drive 12 volt pump the heater core and fans. At work today I built the power distribution box individual relays and fuses for each fan and the pump hooked it all up and every thing works!!!!
First question has anyone ever used a simlair setup to this and if so how did it work
Next I wonder where a good starting point for a r vaule of the ice holding chamber
Lastly is there a voltage regulator availble that will put out about 5 amps (.37 for each fan and 1.35 for the pump) I searched and couldn't find something reasonable. I do have a 900 cca yellow top optma I could put a battery tender on if needed
