Just brewed my first sour beer and I'm pumped! I used the sour ale blend from white labs. The krausen has fallen back into the beer but no pellicle has formed. I plan on racking it onto a couple pounds of cherries and figs and letting it ride for as long as I can wait. Should I wait for a while now that primary is done or rack it sooner than later? Also, is there such thing as too much time on the fruit? I've heard six months is good, but what about longer? Thanks!

Personally, I think any longer than 6 months and you start to lose some of the fruit flavor, but it could just be me. I like to rack onto fruit for the last 3-4 months.
